Hi, I'm Nini and this is the tumblr where I try to convey daily inspiration for the beauty loving soul. I'm inspired by the ancient Greek ideal of "ARTE" and their ideas about beauty, wisdom and love. (More about the philosophy of this place here...)

Please note: I try to credit all artists properly, if you discover an uncredited post and wish me to complete an information or remove works for copyright reasons, please let me know.

Also: Most of my posts are reblogs I have discovered via a great number of inspiring tumblr users I follow. I warmly encourage everyone to have a look at the notes below each post to see who blogged the content first or before me and follow these people as well! They deserve my full respect and praise - I am grateful for them to dig out such wonderful posts day after day!

Edvard Munch, (1863 /1944) was a Norwegian painter and printmaker whose intensely evocative treatment of psychological themes built upon some of the main tenets of late 19th-century Symbolism and greatly influenced German Expressionism in the early 20th century. One of his most well-known works is The Scream of 1893.
